Dear Mr. Deepak,

We had a great experience and enjoyed the entire tour including Shatabdi Express train from Delhi to Kalka and Toy Train from Kalka/ Shimla.

All the hotels including Span Resort in Manali were superb and all the arrangements were perfect and more than expected.

So thank you once again and will surely recommend your organization to my friends and relatives.

Hello Mr. Deepak,

Just to say thanks for organizing this fantastic trip for all of us (me & my family) and let me tell you that everything was perfect. Kashmir is really beautiful and we really enjoyed our one week in Kashmir. Amritsar is also a great place and particularly the Golden Temple and the Waga border retreat ceremony.

Also it was great having a dinner with you and thank you very much for the same.

We will definitely come to India again through you organization and will recommend your services to our friends in Saudi.

My friend  Deepak:

We would like, in the name of all 16 people in our group, to thank you  for your  excellent hospitality and support during our 4 days in India. Starting with the pick-up at the airport early morning, the transfer to the rail station, the trip to Amritsar, the transfer to the hotel, the unexpected  reception with drums players,  the visit to the boarder to see the afternoon change of the guard, the incredible dinner and show ate the hotel, the night event at the Golden Temple,  the visit to the Golden Temple in the morning and all explanations we got from the guide. You were together with us all the time, taking care of all details, making the visit flawless.  The trip back to Delhi, the reception at the hotel and the next day trip to Agra was perfect. Visiting the Fort and Taj Mahal in the evening was breath taking.  All the details were carefully planned and executed perfectly. The show, after dinner was increasable. Visiting Taj in the morning was an extraordinary experience. The rest of the day in Agra and, in the next morning, the trip back to Delhi, visiting the city, was exactly wat we wanted. Your support at the hotel and airport was key for the completeness of the stay in India.

Once again, in the name of the entire group, we would like to thank you for everything; rest assured that whenever we plan another trip to India (and we will), we will request for your services.

The experience was fantastic.

Best regards

Hi Deepak Bhai,

How are you? Hope All is Well...

I would like to thank you for arranging the honeymoon trip to Darjeeling for me & my wife Sangeeta. It was pleasure to enjoy our honeymoon trip in Darjeeling. Everything (except the rainy season) like Hotel, Food, Sightseeing, Our Room in Hotel & other small things were excellent. Also, the candle night dinner and honeymoon cake was the surprise gift for my wife. I would say it was nice to visit the beautiful sightseeing there in Darjeeling.

On the other side, I would also like to suggest something. Please donút take it otherwise but take it as a suggestion/recommendation from my side. I think the sightseeing location list was not updated with you, as some of the points were already closed, so we had to manage with the available points only. But any ways, we enjoyed a lot in those points.

Overall it was a gr8 experience. We would like to go through you again. I will also refer my friends to contact you for any Kind of trip. I would like to thank you again for your endeavour and wish you a great success ahead.

Hello Deepak

Thanks for organising our trip to India and here is the complete feedback !

Mandawa : hotel was OK ; very calm and quiet ; but the food was not very good  (the evening buffet and also the breakfast were not good qualites )

The guide for the tour in Mandawa was not good ( he was doing too much if you know what I mean ; he was not feeling sincere ; and we did not appreciate to have to go to his father ... to see the things his dad was selling )

Bikaner : hotel was nice but food was not good, though the situation of the hotel is nice. The guide was very good and knowledgable. We didnút like the program in bikaner because there was no city tour, which we wanted to go but the guide wanted us to follow the program. But when we told him that we are not interested, then he took us for city tour. So we finally go on to the camel farm and not the temple and thereafter city tour .

Jaisalmer : hotel was very nice good situation , good staff but we had to ask for hot water ! and the bed were not confortable at all ! restaurant was very good and breakfast too .

The guide in Jaisalmer was very good and nice, we really appreciate is tour , discovering nice cafe and local food . he was listening for what we wanted .

Jodhpur : hotel was very bad !! very noisy and we were in a room who was just up to the main entrance, so it was very noisy ; the hotel has a bad situation in a small village, too far from the city . restaurant was not good at all .. buffet was not good .. and breakfast also .

The guide was very nice and very funny we really appreciate our tour with him .

What we regret is not to have more time in the city ; we arrive in the end of the afternoon so it was a little bit short to discover Jodhpur .

Udaipur: too long to arrive in Udaipur ; we went in Ranakpur and then in Kumbhalgarh fort so we arrived in udaipur around 7 pm . even if the tour was very interesting it was too much road for the day because we drove a lot during the all tour ; so it was not necessary to do both Ranakpur and kumbhalgarh fort . if we had only one of the two it would have been enough. The Guest House was very nice ; meal to be served too long but it was very good. We appreciate to be alone for once and visit udaipur by our own .

Pushkar: hotel was nice good situation ; nice staff ; good restaurant . We didnút like the guide in Pushkar he was just doing too much ; not very pleasant.

Jaipur: hotel generalús retreat: it was the best hotel of our tour : nice rooms, staff very pleasant and warmful  ; restaurant excellent and breakfast perfect, we really appreciate ... The guide was very nice as well ; we really appreciate the tour with him ; really kind person .

Agra: hotel bhoomi residency : it was not a good hotel ; we were disappointed to finish our tour with this hotel (and we were coming from generalús retreat !!) room was OK (bed confortable) but we had to ask for hot water several time and also for towels because domestic help forgot them ! The only positive things of the hotel is the situation (very close from Taj Mahal) and the staff who was very nice .

The guide was the best of our tour , he was very nice and calm ; good knowledges .

Here it is and I will finish with our driver Rana who was the best of all , thanks to him we had a good tour to India ; he did everything to make us happy and enjoying our tour . He is very serious person and very warmful ; We realy enjoy being with him during the fortnight.

if you can send him the attached photos it will be kind of you and send him our best regards .

We also wanted to thank you for your presence during the tour ; what you did to make it very nice ... and thanks a lot for the flowers it was a nice attention !

We realy enjoy our tour and the people we met ; Indian people are so kind, Iúm going to send some photos to INDIA to the people who ask us to send them pictures of them  !!

Hope it will be complete enough for you; if you have any other questions tell me !

All the best ! and a good recovery to your mother.

Dear Mr Deepak

Thank you for your mail. Glad to hear, that your mother is getting better and we wish her a speedy recovery. We had a good flight home and have been busy unpacking and sorting our photos.

We would like to thank you for your professional and perfect organisation of our trip - we would recommend your services to anybody without hesitation. We have come back home with a lot of unforgetable experiences and memories - India is such a versatile country and the locals always friendly and smiling. For us it has been a holiday where we didnút have to worry about anything: starting from the pick-up service at the airports and train stations, the transportation by car, the hotel bookings and the sightseeing. Throughout our trip, you stayed in contact with us and made sure that if we ever needed anything, you were just a call or a sms away. We very much appreciated your quick and uncomplicated help when organising a perfect alternative hotel in Madurai for us and would like to thank you for your thoughtful presents of flowers and the bottle of wine, which we enjoyed.

Mr Bala was a careful driver who always made sure that we reached the points of interest and hotels in time. He introduced us to our guides and was already awaiting us when we got back from sightseeing. We would also like to mention that the vehicle was always very clean and Mr Bala was always very punctual at meeting times. He always kept bottled water in the car and when we wanted special drinks he was very helpful and would organise them.

Most of the guides were also very good. The guides in the following cities we would like to point out for excellent service and sharing the most interesting information with us: Chennai, Tanjore (Mr Krishna), Madurai and Mumbai (Ms Nandhini). Unfortunately we do not have all their names but hope the above information will still help you.

We hope the above feedback is sufficient. Thank you again for organising a really memorable trip for us - coming back to India, we would definitively book with you again.

Kind regards
Barbara & Karim

Dear Deepak,

How good to hear from you. We always remember the wonderful experiences you facilitated for the group from Ripon Cathedral and you are well remembered here.  Sadly I am no longer able to travel abroad but I would always be happy to recommend you to anyone I knew who wanted to visit India on a private tour.  I also remember your great kindness to the Tibetan nuns Thamchoe and Ngawang.  Thamchoe is now living in the States with her Tibetan partner.  They have a 3 year old son Tenzing and they have also brought over a young nephew and niece so that they can have the benefit of an education. Life is hard for them and they have to work very hard and I greatly admire what they are doing for the next generation.  Although I can no longer travel I follow with great interest events in India and the so-called economic miracle. I do hope that your business will flourish and be a great success - you certainly deserve it!

with warmest good wishes to you and your family,

Dear Deepak

Thank you for the email, we are not sure why you felt the need to write again as overall we had a wonderful trip, there were a few issues with the Munnar choice but we didnút let it spoil our time in Kerala.

FYI, we were not upgraded to a two bedroom cottage but given the same accommodation as we had already but slightly higher up and with a balcony.

However, as I mentioned earlier it did not spoil our trip but we felt, at the time rather let down at the choice of accommodation to celebrate the festive season. We realise now that was probably the best in the area but perhaps in future if your client is visiting Kerala or India during a festive season, then the accommodation and festivities should be top priority. Therefore change the program to suit...

We have put an album of our trip together (thanks to IPhoto ) and it is wonderful to look back on, we will treasure the memories of Kerala always.

Thank you Deepak for your guidance, the constructed criticism we have given to you, we hope will help you with future clients, it is not in any way meant as a personal fault to you.

We would like to thank you once again for your service and for providing excellent drivers on our route through Kerala, along with your choice of hotels (which were very good on the whole) and should we return to India we will have no hesitation in contacting you again.

Kind regards
Barbara & John Browne

Dear Deepak,

Golden Triangle Tour w/Ranthambore (5 nights/6 days) for 5 people (age range 25-56) Nov 3rd to 8th 2011

Contact person: Deepak Dhyani, Dependable Travel Solutions, Delhi, India.

Nov 3rd:
Great to meet you personally on arrival. The flowers was a big bonus. Hotel was good, but we couldnút seem to find anything close by . Shops, restaurants etc. Not at all critical and we didnút look that hard.

The guide was polite and friendly and seemed knowledgeable. But he wasnút clear about if he would pay for himself or if we should, before he joined us for lunch. We werenút very familiar with the tip culture in India so we didnút give any on our first day except the lunch.

Most guides throughout the world do seem to have some sort of side income on commission. We were taken to a place supposedly run by the government to look at carpets from Kashmir.

Nov 4th:
Again, we appreciated to be seen off by you personally.

We were met by your representative and local guide in Agra upon arrival at the hotel. The guide was very knowledgeable but could at times have been more smiling/casual. I believe he would be perfect to shepherd big groups and keep them on schedule, but he lacked just the last social touch.

The hotel was good and clean as should be and it had a restaurant on the roof with a good view.

Also this time the guide suggested that we should go and have a look at some local stone work, and probably wanted to bring us to some shop of questionable kind. We couldnút know for sure, but we chose to skip it.

Nov 5th:
The guide did a great job at navigating us through the crowds at Taj Mahal and we got some time to wander around ourselves.

Bharatpur Bird sanctuary was actually far more interesting than we had imagined and it was great to take a break from the busy world around. The guide/naturalist was superb. And a little rest from the busy streets of India was well received.

At the railway station we were in for a surprise. While standing on the platform a big crowd gathered around us. For my own part I found it mostly amusing(once in a lifetime experience ;-)), but I would understand if some would find it uncomfortable also.

We had one person in the group who at this time was quite tired of all the people, so it got to be a bit too much. Big bonus points to the driver, who both saw us well off and kept people at bay.

The train comfort was good and we arrived safely and was picked up at the moment we stepped onto the platform.

We arrived at Ankur Resort and checked in. Management/reception seem very inefficient and sometimes less polite. They lack order and managed to lose one of the vouchers(for lunch and dinner) and also at one time couldnút fine our key in the pile of paper they had on the desk. Despite this I would recommend the resort because of the facilities and the rest of the staff. Great service and good and varied food.

It was a bit unclear when the safari the next morning would take place and we had the reception call the local agency. The local representative arrived swiftly and things sorted itself out.

Nov 6th:
The guide picked us up from the hotel at the agreed upon time, and we had a fantastic safari. We took route 6, which is one of the routes that both big canters and jeeps can use, but the guide mostly avoided the canters. We got to see a lot of different animals and the guide was excellent. He kept his cool and could tell us a lot about the animals and the park itself. ( Name: Jyotirmoy).

He also accompanied us to Ranthambore Fort and even though it was a quick visit we got to see a lot. The great thing about the guide was that he seemed to know many of the people working up there so we got to take several pictures of them working. For no cost at all. Super guide.

For our second safari our guide had run into some problems with the jeep/driver so he had to find a replacement. The guide we got was a lot younger and more restless. We took route 7 because of an earlier spotting of tigers. This guide was mostly focused on the hunt for tigers, and nothing else. But he did redeem himself and we got to see 4 tigers(mom and three cubs) up close!

Nov 7th:
The following day we got the same guide again and drove out to see route 8, which again had a completely different scenery. Both route 7 and 8 were inaccessible for the big canters. You should make all future customers take the jeep, or theyúll regret it badly.

All in all the trip to Ranthambore was well worth it and a most welcome retreat from the otherwise busy India.

We checked in at Hotel Rani in Jaipur, which is just an amazing/fascinating hotel. The rooms were completely different from one another and the detailed work was just amazing. It was placed in a quiet street but close enough to some lively streets for a good evening walk. Also, dinner seemed to be included at the hotel without the voucher saying so, and the staff was just plain sweet.

The guide was great and was genuinely interested in all the sights. He was also very honest in telling us about what to do and not to do. Definitely a recommended guide.

The local representative for Dependable met us at the hotel in the evening and apologized for not being able to meet up on arrival. Due to traffic I believe.

Nov 8th:
The elephant ride up to Amber Fort was great, although the queue was long. The guide did warn us to make sure we brought extra water.
We were safely dropped off at our hotel at the end of the trip.

---------------------
For the complete journey we all agree that the driver, Mr. Manoj, was outstanding. He took well care of us, met on time every day, and stopped to let us photograph interesting sights. Definitely the best driver we encountered in India and we felt very safe. When he arrived to pick us up we could count on him to have the car restocked with cold water and a full tank of gas.
--------------------

Review/feedback. Feel free to use me as a reference if needed.

My/our encounter with Dependable Travel Solutions has been nothing but a pleasure. Mr. Deepak Dhyani came recommended through an Indian friend of ours and he personally ensured to-the-point informative communication from the early planning stage, up until we were all safe back home. Throughout the trip we were provided with a solid driver, knowledgeable guides, good accommodation and personal follow-up by local representatives.

I firmly believe that the price for the standard tour we chose was competitively priced (Nov. 2011), even when adding a custom schedule.

Sincerely
Tony and the party of five
Norway

Hello my friend Deepak,
I hope all is well with you and your family. We would like to thank you for a wonderful trip to India. Dependable Travel exceeded our expectations of our trip and we are looking forward to returning next year. First let me say that Our driver Rana was fantastic, we were not only comfortable but felt safe at all times. Even the long travel times from place to place were exciting and fun. We learned as much with him while driving as we did with the guides on our tours. Please tell him we said "hello" and thank him again for all that he did for us. The Guides were great but I have to say that Ranjit Maan, and Angelica Bhalla were the best. Their knowledge and most especially their patience with us was wonderful. There was so much to see and learn about, with our excitement and fascination of all we were seeing I know they had to repeat many things and answer our multitude of questions.  The three of us have discussed in great detail our likes and dislikes of the trip, we all agree that there really is nothing we are unhappy about. As far as feedback goes the one thing we all agree is you really should include some sort of tip scale for new comers. The last night of our trip we found a tip scale in a guide book provided by the hotel. When we read through it we found that we had been over tipping  by more than double what the book recommended. This was why our funds were completely gone by the last couple of days. Also I have to say at the Imperial, I was not impressed when our luggage came out and there were six different people there all helping to put our luggage in the car. Consequently when I went to tip I felt obligated to tip them all and gave them each 150 INR because I had no idea what the average tip was there in India. There is no tipping in Scotland where Marsha comes from so she never thought to budget for such things. People should be informed so they can be prepared. When someone at the historical sites tells you to come and take a picture then after you have taken it holds their hand out for money it is very unpleasant (I am speaking of the dancers, musicians, and people dressed in Indian attire). As foreigners we are excited to get pictures of the things we see and do, we expect to pay for souvenirs but not the pictures we take. It would help to have the guides purchase some of the things people find that they want. Rana and Angelica both did this for us on several occasions. The people there see "white" people and assume we are rich but the truth is we saved a very long time for this trip and ended up spending more on our credit cards than expected and are now trying to recover. Rana would purchase our drinks and chips or candy when we wanted them because when we tried to buy them ourselves people were charging 120INR for a cola and another 140 for a candy bar. When a local would purchase from the same vendor they would be charged 40 INR....we were being charged triple price. I know you cannot change the culture but at least prepare your clients on what to expect, and encourage your guides to inform people to allow them to mediate when they want to purchase something. All in all we spent another 4000USD on top of the 6000+ we paid before we got there. This is not including the two rugs I still owe for. I love the rugs but am seriously wondering if I am being over charged because of where I come from. I wonder if you would have been given the same price if you wanted to buy the same rugs. I have to say that Khem Villas does it well...they tell you at check in that they do not encourage tipping, but rather at the end of your stay there is a tip box so you can tip based on your overall experience.
Also as far as Khem Villas goes I would encourage you to have them book your safari trips through the hotel and not do it yourself. I say this because we went to the same gate/area all three times and never had the opportunity to see any of the other locations of the park. We were thrilled to see the things we did see, but feel that we lost a great opportunity to see more. The guide at the villas (not the one from Dependable Travel) explained that when you book through them it is arranged personally for you and you can even choose which areas you would like to see.
I hope the information we have given you is helpful. We look forward to seeing you again. I have been going through pictures and showing several people here who will be coming to your country soon. Also I will be forwarding some to you that you may include in your travel itinerary for future clients.

Thank you again, it was overall a wonderful and educational trip.

Hi Deepak,
We would like to thank you once more for the excellent tour package you put together for us. Everything was perfect; starting with the welcome at the airport so early in the morning, than the visit to Delhi, new and old city, and the trip to Agra and Jaipur. The quality of the tour guides were incomparable; their knowledge of the places we saw are very good. Adding to that the skills of the driver, Mr. S.S. Rana, transmitting security and confidence, always on time made us fill at home. We were very impressed with the places we saw, the hospitality you and your team provided. For sure we will return to India and would like to count on your services again.

Sincerely
Tangryane and Luiz Fadel

Hello Deepak,

I am writing this mail with the reference of our (Me & My Wife Mamta) Honeymoon trip to Kerela. To begin with I would like to thank you for your help in setting it up. We absolutely loved our stay in Kerela. All went very smoothly and Kerela was great. This is exactly what I wanted but never thought that It would be so easy which I had with Dependable Travel Solutions (India). The hotels and the food were fabulous and the living area had every necessary convenience ( Refrigerator, Coffee pot , Chocolates, nuts, water, drinks). The experience we had in Houseboat at Kerala was mind blowing. We will definitely be back and go through you again. I would also refer some of my friends and relatives to go through with Dependable Travel Solutions (India) for any kind of trip. I would like to thank you again for your endeavour and wish you a great success ahead.

Thanks & Regards,

Kuldeep Banduni

Dear Deepak,

Happy Easter to you and your family.

I must apologise for my late reply to your email but I have been having problems with my computer.

We both thoroughly enjoyed our trip to India. It was a great adventure and we learnt a lot about your country. Thank you for your meticulous arrangements and we will certainly recommend you to our friends.

We look forward to meeting you again, perhaps here in England, but certainly when we return to India. So much more to see!

Best wishes.

Gareth & Jackie

Dear Deepak,

Many thanks for your kind Easter greetings; we wish you and your family all the best for this Easter too. It was so good to meet them all during our final evening in Delhi.

Marian and I had a marvellous time in India and with your knowledge and experience it made the whole trip into an amazing experience. Looking back I canút believe how much we did and saw. We have some fantastic memories and weúll relive these at our party which weúre having on July the 17th at Clive and Margaretús house.

Our carpet arrived safely and now takes pride of place in our living room!

I mentioned that our eldest daughter and friend are travelling to India later this year and you suggested that you might be able to help with her itinerary, she has written a note to you (attached) and I would be grateful if you can respond to her accordingly.

Kindest Regards

John and Marian

Hello Deepak,

I am writing to thank you for the marvellous trip to India that we enjoyed in Marchĺ2011.

The high quality of service and attention to detail could not be bettered anywhere. The trip was enjoyable, informative, comfortable and entertaining. Every day there was a new and fascinating discovery to make in your wonderful country and I feel we were the luckiest people to have the services of yourself who made our trip so outstandingly special, both in the planning of the itinerary and the organisation of the whole tour.

We will all definitely be returning and using your services again and again.

Yours gratefully,

Deepak and family

Now back in the UK where the sun is shining but temperature is only 10 deg C! We are however keeping warm with the memory of our Indian adventure.

Both Linda and I enjoyed every bit of the tour (perhaps with the exception of the Volvo overnight journey to Manali but even that had its lighter moments as our ladies struggled to find suitable toilet facilities!). I cannot remember a holiday when we have done, experienced and enjoyed so much. We of course were delighted with seeing the temples, particularly the Golden temple which is our personal favourite and the Taj Mahal, and the cities and towns we visited. However the highlights were meeting the local people and their welcome in Kullu, the Varansi schools, Mrs Bandaris guest house and seeing the Dalai Lama at his temple in McLeodganj. The experience of train travel especially the overnight Agra-Varanasi express was not to be missed. We were also fortunate in having a group of people who got on so well together and their companionship only added to the delight of the holiday.

Most of all however our thanks go to you who organised such a wonderful itinerary and provided such excellent service. Your efforts I know have been appreciated by the us and the rest of the group. Your attention to detail and the continual stream of surprises have ensured that we have had the most memorable holiday. Everyone in the group will be singing your praises for a long time and we look forward to visiting India again probably in 2013 when I hope many of our group will be joining us again.

Do keep in contact and will gladly send you a testimonial to the excellence of your service. I will be getting many opportunities to hand out your details. In fact I certainly raised the level of interest of 2 UK travellers on the flight back to the UK from Dubai and gave them your card.

Best wishes to you and your family and thanks for a brilliant holiday(adventure)

Dear Deepak

We all arrived home safely after a fantastic trip. You really looked after us well.

There are so many memories of very special events on this trip such as seeing the Dalai Lama (which is what I really wanted to do) visiting the Taj Mahal and having lunch with the lovely families in Manali.

Anne was telling lots of people on the plane back all about the trip and singing your praises.

Please keep in touch - and thank you for this email.

Dear Deepak,

Sorry that I did not reply sooner to your earlier e-mail. We are both busy back at work now and saving for our next trip to your lovely country.

We have spoken to others from the trip and we all agree that we had a fabulous time. Made all the better by your good services.

The real memories are those that we would not get on an ordinary package holiday, such as the visit to the apple growing family in Manali, seeing the Dalai Lama in Dharamshala and meeting your lovely family in Gurgaon. We hope that like you, they are all well.

We are thinking about returning to India in 2013 to visit the southern part of the country around Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Goa and will, of course, use your good services again.

Every opportunity that we get, we recommend your good services and will continue to do so.

Take care of yourself and your family and we hope that your company goes from strength to strength.

With all best wishes.
