Delhi, the city is acclaimed for being the cultural capital of India. The spectacular architecture of Delhi city is evident through its antique monuments. This city witnesses an interesting blend of diverse cultures (some even 5000 years old). Delhi has always had a mysterious eternity, the city having witnessed empires rise to glory and fall to ashes. The contemporary Delhi is a culmination of seven cities built by different emperors. Ruins of this ancient city are found even today and now converted to some major tourist attractions, which can be seen during city tours.


You will be well received on your arrival at Delhi airport and transfer to hotel.

Lunch at hotel and rest of the afternoon at leisure OR Visit the famous Hindu Temple- Akshar Dham Temple.

Akshardham Temple, is a magnificent Hindu shrine, situated in the east region of New Delhi. Located on the banks of River Yamuna, it was inaugurated in November 2005, by the former President of India - APJ Abdul Kalam, the Prime Minister - Man Mohan Singh and Pramukh Swami Maharaj - the spiritual leader of BAPS. Pramukh Swami Maharaj is the current spiritual leader of Swaminarayan Sanstha, BAPS. Swaminarayan Akshardham was constructed under his guidance, after his guru, Yogiji Maharaj, expressed a wish for the same.

Day 03 (07th March 2017)Tue: Delhi

After breakfast at hotel, proceed for city tour of Old & New Delhi.

The city of Delhi can broadly be divided into two parts, Old Delhi and New Delhi. Old Delhi was the capital of Delhi’s Muslim rulers notably the Mughals between 17th & 19th centuries. New Delhi on the other hand is referred to as the IMPERIAL city when the British decided to move their capital from Calcutta in 1911.


The sightseeing of Old Delhi includes a visit to Jama Masjid which is India's largest mosque, built of red sandstone and white marble in the middle of the 17thcentury. Red Fort, a 17th century fort complex constructed by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the walled city of Old Delhi. Rajghat, cremation site of father of Nation- Mahatma Gandhi) and rickshaw ride through the streets of Chandni Chawk (Silver Street), once the imperial avenue down which Shah Jehan rode at the head of lavish cavalcades, is today bustling with shops, stalls and silversmiths' ateliers.

Sightseeing of New Delhi includes a visit to India Gate, built in memory of Indian soldiers killed during the First World War. Drive pass Rashtrapati Bhawan, built in the early 20th century as the Imperial residence of the Viceroy is today the official residence of the President of India and Parliament House, an unique circular building with huge colonnades, houses the Upper and Lower Houses of Parliament. Humayun's Tomb is the first Mughal garden tomb. Visitors are immediately struck by the tomb's resemblance to its more famous cousin - the Taj Mahal - with its four grand gateways, octagonal base-plan, soaring niche-shaped arches, lofty double domes and the symmetrical garden with its central canal. And finally Qutab Minar, one of Delhi’s most striking monuments, which is the world's tallest brick minaret with a height of 72.5 meters.

Day 04 (08th March 2017) Wed: Delhi/ Jaipur (260Kms & 5hrs drive)

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Jaipur.


Jaipur or the Pink City was founded by Maharaja Jai Singh II (1693-1743) and is the capital city of the state of Rajasthan. Jaipur is surrounded by hills and the beautiful forts. Jaipur with Agra and Delhi has made a circuit, which is called India’s Golden Triangle- the most popular tourist destinations in India. Jaipur is a planned city built according to the ancient Hindu treatise “Vastu Sashtra”. The orderly bazaars of the old town are ranked among the most vibrant in Asia. Jaipur is the perfect place to shop for Handicrafts, antiques, jewelry, gems, pottery, carpets, textiles, metalwork and leather ware. Jaipur is renowned for hand- dyed and embroidered textiles, Handicrafts, antiques, pottery, carpets, jewellery and the best selection of precious stones and metals in India.


Arrive Jaipur and check into your hotel.


Post Lunch at hotel, proceed to visit the Pink City of Jaipur, visiting City Palace, built between 1728- 1732, it occupies the center of Jaipur and is surrounded by high walls. The important buildings within the Palace are textile and the costume museum, armory museum, Diwan-I-Khas and Diwan-I-am. Jantar Mantar is the largest stone observatory in the World and one of the five astronomical observatories built by Maharaja Jai Singh in India. On the way back to hotel, stop for photo clicks at the Hawa Mahal or the Palace of the Winds, which is Jaipur’s most famous building was built for the ladies of the harem.

Day 05 (09th March 2017) Thu: Jaipur

After breakfast at hotel, proceed to visit Amber Fort, the ancient capital of Jaipur. 

Amber Fort is built on the crest of a rocky hill behind the Maota Lake in the outskirt of Jaipur. Amber was the capital of the Kuchwaha rajputs from 1037- 1728. Ascend the Fort on elephant back (subject to availability). Amber Fort has a magnificent Palace compound. One can enter the Palace complex through Suraj Pole (Sun Gate) and step into Jaleb Chowk, where one can have elephant ride. Singh Pole (Lion Gate) give the access to the palaces. Diwan- i- Am (public Audience), Ganesh Pole, Sheesh Mahal, Jas Mandir (temple), Sukh Mahal and the Palace of Mansingh I are worth visiting.

In the afternoon, visit Sanganer village in the outskirt of Jaipur, which is famous for handmade paper industry and textile printing. The crafts created in this town are really unique and that is the reason, they are not loved by Indians as well as by foreigners.

Day 06 (10th March 2017) Fri: Jaipur/ Agra (230Kms & 5-6hrs drive)

After early breakfast at hotel, drive to Agra. On the way, visit Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary and Fatehpur Sikri (17Kms further from Bharatpur).


The Keoladeo Ghana National Park or Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary in Rajasthan is a famous Bird sanctuary that witness thousands of rare and highly endangered birds such as the Siberian Crane come here during the winter season. Over 230 species of birds are known to have made this National Park their home. It was declared a protected sanctuary in 1971 and it is also a World Heritage Site.

Lunch at local restaurant and continue drive towards Agra via Fatehpur Sikri.

Fatehpur Sikri, was built by Mughal Emperor Akbar between 1569- 1585, when he shifted his capital from Agra. But after a few years, the water supply was incapable of sustaining the population and the capital was shifted back to Agra. Now it is a deserted city and also called a ghost city but it is perfectly preserved. Akbar was a very tolerant ruler and the buildings at Fatehpur Sikri blended both Islamic and Hindu architecture. One of the buildings even reflects the new religion or faith founded by Akbar’- “Din-e-ilahi”, which was very short-lived. He abolished much hated poll- tax on non- muslims (Jizya) and was the first Mughal ruler to marry a Hindu (Rajut princess from Jaipur). It is a beautiful palace complex with Hindu and Muslim artistic buildings. You can visit Birbal’s Palace (Hindu building), Jodhbai’s Palace (Hindu building), Jami Masjid, Tomb of Sheikh Salim Chishti and Buland Darwaza etc. Buland Darwaza is also called “Gate of Magnificence’. It is the highest gateway in the world. One has to climb 42 steps to reach this gateway, which is 40mtr high and 35mtr wide.

Continue drive towards Agra. 

Agra is famous for world’s most beautiful monument of love- Taj Mahal. The history of Agra is much older than the times of Mughals but during the Mughal Empire, Agra had become one of the great centers of art, culture, learning and commerce. All the great monuments with magnificent work of art and craft are still flourishing in the city including leather work and pietra dura marble-inlay work. Agra is famous for its marble work like tabletops, vases and trays, inlaid with semi-precious stones or gems in ornate floral designs, an imitation of those found in the Taj Mahal. Agra is also an excellent place to buy leather, as it exports shoes, bags, briefcases and jackets.

Day 07 (11th March 2017) Sat: Agra

After breakfast at hotel, proceed for city tour of Agra, visiting the famous Taj Mahal- which was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as the mausoleum of his beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal, after her death in 1631. The Taj Mahal is recognized worldwide as a symbol of eternal love.
Taj Mahal remains closed on Fridays.

Later, visit the massive Agra Fort- constructed out of red sand stone by the Mughal Emperor Akbar and containing the Halls of Public and Private Audience.

Lunch at local restaurant.


In the afternoon, proceed to visit Itmad-ud daulah- one of the most beautiful of Mughal tombs, stands across the river Yamuna and later, enjoy Taj Mahal at sunset from Mehtab Bagh from across river Yamuna.

In the evening, enjoying the amazing Mohabbat The Taj Show that depicts the romantic love story of Emperor Shajahan and his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal in the famous theater Kalakriti Cultural & Convention Center.

Day 08 (12th March 2017) Sun: Agra/ Corbett (350Kms & 7-8hrs drive)

After early Breakfast at hotel, drive towards Corbett National Park.


Located in the foothills of the Himalayas is the majestic Corbett National Park in the state of Uttarakhand. Home to a variety of flora and fauna, it is famous for its wild population of Tigers, Leopards and Elephants. Corbett National Park was established in 1936, as the Hailey National Park. India's first national park and the first sanctuary to come under Project Tiger, Corbett supports a variety of vegetation making it the ideal habitat for the Tiger and its prey. Once a popular hunting ground of the British, this park (area: 1318.54 sq. km. including 520 sq. km. of core area of and 797.72 sq. km. of buffer area) was named in honor of the late Jim Corbett, the legendary hunter-naturalist turned author and photographer who most of his years in this area and contributed in setting up this park.

Arrive Corbett in the later afternoon and check into your hotel.

Day 09 (13th March 2017) Mon: Corbett National Park

Wake early in the morning and proceed for 1st Jungle Safari inside Corbett National Park to see tigers & other wild animals.
Return to hotel for breakfast and rest of the morning at leisure to enjoy the pool or indoor games etc.


After Lunch at hotel, proceed for 2nd Jungle Safari inside Corbett National Park to see tigers & other wild animals.
Dinner & Overnight at hotel.


Day 10 (14th March 2017) Tue: Corbett/ Delhi (280Kms & 6- 7hrs drive)

After breakfast at hotel, drive towards Delhi.
Lunch on the way at local restaurant.

Arrive Delhi in the afternoon and check into your hotel.

Rest of the day at leisure.

Dinner will be served at a local restaurant.
Overnight at hotel.


Day 11 (15th March 2017) Wed: Delhi/ Amritsar- Train

After breakfast at hotel, you will be transferred to railway station to board Train- Shatabdi Express (0720/ 1330) to Amritsar.
(Breakfast will be served on board- By Indian Railways).


Amritsar  is a holy city in the state of Punjab. The city is famous for its Golden Temple. Amritsar is a combination of 2 words Amrit and Sar. Amrit means “Nectar” and Sar means sarovar or lake, which means the "holy pool of nectar" around the Golden Temple. Amritsar is a spiritual and cultural center of the Sikh religion and famous for its unique Gurdwara (place of worship)- The Golden Temple, which was initiated by Guru Ramdaas Ji- the fourth Sikh Guru and it was completed in 1601 by his successor Guru Arjan Dev Ji. Today, it is a major pilgrimage centre for Sikh and one of the most popular tourist destinations in India.


You will be well received on your arrival at Amritsar railway station and transfer to hotel.

After dinner at hotel, proceed to visit the famous Golden Temple to witness night (closing) ceremony.
There is Palki Sahib Ceremony in the Golden Temple which takes place twice a day. Palki Sahib Ceremony (night ceremony) is when the holy book Guru Granth Sahib is carried to a room for night stay. This is symbolic gesture.

Day 12 (16th March 2017) Thu: Amritsar

After breakfast at hotel, proceed for city tour of Amritsar, visiting the famous Golden Temple & Jaliawalan Bagh.


Golden Temple: This sacred Sikh shrine attracts pilgrims from all over the world who come there to pay their respects and do voluntary service. Incredibly, the number of visitors per year rivals the Taj Mahal in Agra. The main temple looks particularly arresting at night when it’s beautifully lit up, with its imposing pure gold dome illuminated. The temple complex is open for almost 20 hours, from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. It's well worth two visits -- during the day and night. Heads must be covered and shoes removed when you enter the temple.


Jallianwala Bagh (Garden) is 5minute walk from the Golden Temple, and is the site of the 1919 Amritsar massacre. On April 13 of that year, British Indian Army soldiers opened fire on an unarmed gathering of men, women and children. The firing lasted about 10 minutes and 1650 rounds were fired, killing 1579 people. A memorial was built on the site and inaugurated by the then-President of India, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, on 13 April 1961. to this day the bullet holes can be seen on the walls and adjoining buildings. The well into which many people jumped and drowned attempting to save themselves from the hail of bullets is also a protected monument inside the park.

In the later afternoon, proceed to Indo- Pak Border (Wagah Border) to witness the Flag retreat ceremony, which is unique and worth visiting. The border is about 30Kms from Amritsar, where the soldiers from both the countries march in perfect drill with great enthusiasm and going through the steps of bringing down their respective national flags. The crowed from both the sides chanting slogans for their country and encouraging their soldiers amidst thunderous applause.

Day 13 (17th March 2017) Fri: Amritsar/ Delhi- Train

After Tea/ coffee at hotel, you will be transferred to railway station to board Shatabdi Express (0515/ 1145) to Delhi.
(Breakfast will be served on board- By Indian Railways)


You will be well received on your arrival at Delhi railway station and transfer to hotel, where rooms are booked for your short stay (Day Use).

Lunch at hotel and rest of the afternoon at leisure for shopping etc.

Farewell Dinner will be provided at the hotel.
Later in the evening, you will be transferred to Delhi International airport to board your flight back home!
